The Broadmasters competition is through NEOSEF. You can elect to participate, but you will be chosen at the fair whether you will compete in the writing competition on not. You can find out more here at http://www.societyforscience.org/masters

Our top 10 students will get the chance to compete in the Regional Science Day at The University of Akron on March 16, 2013. Then there is a possibility to compete in the state science fair on State Science Day which is held at Ohio State University on May 11. In order to qualify, they will compete is the District Science Fair. Our competition is following the same rules and standards as the State Science Day and the Intel ISEF. This year's the Intel ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair) will be held in Phoenix, AZ. This competition is for 9th-12th grade http://www.societyforscience.org/isef . This is a global event! There is great information on this site about how to compete in science fairs.
